Charles Cochrane has been in the ventilation cleaning industry for 30 years and is currently president of Cochrane ventilation Inc., a commercial ventilation cleaning and indoor air quality firm, founded in 1950. He is a past president of NADCA and has chaired and served on the Standards, Certification, Education, and International Committees. Cochrane has been actively involved with the Environmental Protection Agency and Housing and Urban Development reviewing and evaluating methods of air duct cleaning. He has authored many articles and presented numerous lectures pertaining to air duct cleaning and indoor air quality. These lectures include National Air Duct Cleaners Association, American Institute of Plant Engineers, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Currently he serves as the Chair of the Standards Committee and is an active volunteer on the Education Committee and the Science Committee. In addition to being a member of NADCA, his other professional memberships and affiliations include ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers), AIHA (American Industrial Hygiene Association), AFE Association for Facilities Engineering.
